Bio

Olaf Krüger studied art history and German literature at university before his great passion for travel took the photojournalist and author on a journey around the globe – a journey that finally led him to India for the first time in 1990. Since then he has made twenty extended trips to the country he likes to call his ‘life’s work’.
Iceland is another country that Olaf Krüger has developed a fascination for. A lavish photo book featuring the North Sea island was published in conjunction with his multivision  show ‘ICELAND/Fabulous Island’.
He has published a large number of books and articles (GEO, ADAC-Reisemagazin, Die Zeit, Outdoor, Bild am Sonntag, Weingarten-Kalenderverlag and Marco Polo to name a few).
His most recent publication was a volume of articles (Die lange Nacht des großen Shiva – Geschichten aus Indien) with the Kahl publishing house in Dresden.
In a combined effort, he and authors Edda and Michael Neumann published two photo-illustrated books on India with the publishing house C.J. Bucher in Munich. Another book on the beautiful palace hotels of India is due to be published in fall 2009.
For several years, Olaf Krüger has been presenting his live multivision shows to packed audiences in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He has also participated in the Weitsicht Festival in Frankfurt, the Mundologia in Freiburg and performed for the Swiss event organizers Explora.
Specially composed music, orginal soundtracks, and informative and concise text passages all underscore his photography, drawing audiences into new and exciting worlds.
The agency grenzgang in Cologne has been representing Olaf Krüger since September 2008.
Olaf Krüger is an appointed  member of the Gesellschaft für Bild und Vortrag (GBV) and the initiator of „Traum und Abenteuer - Die ganze Welt in Bildern“ , a series of multivision shows in Stuttgart.
